We are seeking a highly organized and detail-driven Project Manager to oversee internal project planning and scheduling for structural steel fabrication. In this role, you will manage projects from design through fabrication and delivery, ensuring clear communication, accurate scheduling, and on-time execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate internal work to ensure timely project execution.
  • Collaborate with Structural Designers, Project Leads, and Production Teams to define and meet project goals.
  • Create, maintain, and update project schedules aligned with production timelines.
  • Coordinate materials, delivery dates, and resource needs; resolve scheduling conflicts.
  • Manage purchase orders, change orders, submittals, and RFIs.
  • Prepare and deliver accurate customer approval drawings and fabrication drawings.
  • Track deadlines, address changes, and ensure on-time delivery.
  • Oversee project close-out documentation and ensure project requirements are met.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
  • 1–5 years of experience in project management (steel manufacturing or construction preferred).
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and technical drawings.
  • Excellent organization, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Strong attention to accuracy and detail.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with project management or steel industry software (Tekla EPM, Bluebeam, CAD, Revit, SDS2).
  • Knowledge of structural steel materials, processes, logistics, suppliers, and inventory systems.
  • Experience coordinating with fabrication or manufacturing teams.
